Mwahahahaha! You shall NEVER succeed!!! No, but seriously.
When you commit to learning a language, you are going to be learning it for THE REST OF YOUR LIFE! If you cannot commit to that....well....it is still good to learn another language. Multiple studies have shown that learning another language, no matter what age, is great for your brain--keeping it young and supple and more accepting of new ideas. If you are willing to commit to that, then welcome aboard! It is here that you will find others just like you who are always in the process of learning. There will ALWAYS be something that you do not know about the language (or culture). It is something that has taken me a very, very, very, very long time to come to grips with. (still not sure if I am fully OK with that...) Even in English, I know that I will not know the terms that are needed for electrical engineering or for flying an airplane or even some of the cooking terms they use on the TV. BUT I am okay with that. And do you know why? Because everyone has their own things that they are interested in. Everyone will be specialized in something that another person will have no idea about, and that's okay. So, if you are studying Japanese and you feel like you will never be able to learn it all, just accept the fact that you will never learn it all. Ever. (unless you are a crazy linguistic person who is able to know all of the words in a language, but that's highly unlikely) There is nothing that would satisfy me more than to be completely fluent in Japanese. But I know that if I try to learn ALL THE THINGS, then I will end up frustrated and with a headache. Instead, I should focus on reading things that are interesting to me and that will get me more vocabulary and grammar than what I know now. Which is still good because it means I am learning and expanding my Japanese.
