So, since I have been in Japan for a while I thought it was high time to buy some new bras. But, there was the problem of size. I did not know what size I was in Japan. Therefore, I had to get a bra fitting. Since the store was busy, I was just brought off to one side of the registers near the dressing rooms and the girl sized me up there. After being sized, I asked her to help me find a few bras that would not show under a T-shirt, since it looked as if all of the bras were very lacy or textured in some way.
She pulled down a few after asking for my thoughts and then brought me to the back where there was a changing room open. I tried on the first one, but found the material too scratchy. In the midst of changing into the second bra, she asked me if everything was okay and if she could check the fitting. After telling her just a minute, I quickly put on the other bra, first taking out the unnecessary padding. Giving her the okay, she entered and complemented the colors on me. Then she proceeded to adjust the bra on me. This entailed her adjusting the straps and the position of the bra. BUT THEN! She said “excuse me” and the proceeded to stick her hand into the bra and lift my boobs into the correct position. Now, I appreciate that she was doing her job so that we could see whether or not the bra truly fit me, but...really? All I can say is, “Oh, Japan…” And, yes, I did purchase the bra. Because it was really cute and it did fit me well.
